About:
The Art Gallery of Peterborough is a not-for-profit public gallery dedicated to exhibiting and collecting contemporary Canadian visual works of art. Exhibitions are augmented with a variety of programs such as artists talks, educational programs, studio tours, workshops for all ages, and publications. The gallery has an active membership program, as well as a gallery shop. The gallery is located in downtown Peterborough, Ontario, adjacent to Del Crary Park, on the shore of Little Lake.


General Requirements:
In addition to the following application, each applicant will be required to attend an interview as well as mandatory orientation and training with gallery staff prior to commencing volunteer service. Upon acceptance, each volunteer will be asked to provide a Standard Criminal Reference Check (Vulnerable Sector where applicable). We will provide a request letter in order to obtain.


Please Note: We receive a high number of applications and we have a limited number of volunteer placement opportunities. Because of this, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
