The Art Gallery of Peterborough is a not-for-profit public gallery dedicated to exhibiting and collecting contemporary Canadian visual works of art. Exhibitions are augmented with a variety of programs such as artists talks, educational programs, studio tours, workshops for all ages, and publications. The gallery has an active membership program, as well as a gallery shop. The gallery is located in downtown Peterborough, Ontario, adjacent to Del Crary Park, on the shore of Little Lake.

General Requirements:

In addition to the following application, each applicant will be required to attend an interview as well as mandatory orientation and training with gallery staff prior to commencing volunteer service.

Upon acceptance, each volunteer will be asked to provide a Standard Criminal Reference Check (Vulnerable Sector where applicable). We will provide a request letter in order to obtain.

Vaccination Policy: It is mandatory for all AGP staff and volunteers to have had two Covid-19 vaccinations; therefore, we ask that you provide us with your proof of vaccination prior to your first day of volunteering. This information will be shared with our Volunteer Coordinator who will keep it in a secure and confidential file.
